Application

The TG-500E truck-mounted crane incorporates advanced technology and Tadano's extensive on-the-job know-how to outperform any crane in its class. ● Stronger Hexagonal Boom

The advanced design of the TG-500E's hex-agonal boom incorporates greatly improvedflexural and torsional rigidity for increasedstrength. The five-section boom, which isoperated by a single lever, is equipped withthree telescope cylinders and has a range oflength from 10.65 to 40.0 meters.

● Extra Reach (extension jib)

A two stage jib stored under the base boom section can be extended by9.0 or 14.6 meters and, when erected, can be oflset either 5%, 25%, or 45from the main boom center line. This innovative feature makes lifting atclose quarters safe and efficient.

● Single Top (Auxiliary Boom Sheave)

The boom head can be fitted with a singletop for light load, highspeed lifting, whenextra lift height is not required.

● Underslung Jib

The underslung jib can be quickly and easily extended and stowed within the outriggerwidth.

● Crane Cantrol Levers

All crane controls conform to the ISO standards and employ a special spring center system that automatically rcturns lever positionsto neutral when relesed, thus preventing accidental lever changes during operation. Botheasy-to-use foot pedals for telescoping andauxiliary winching improve their opcrationswhen executed simultaneously with paralleltype operation valves, The new system improves overall control and makes it extiemnelycasy to operate crane.

● Easy SingleLever Operation

Telescoping is done smoothly and easily byoperating a single lever, and mode change!can be done without retracting the boomWhen extended, the second and third sections are telescoped first. By pressing thefourth and last section switch and mavingthe telescoping lever forward  the boom isfully extended. When retracted, only the le-ver nceds to be manipulated. while the sec.tions are retracted in reverse order.

Precise and safe operation is ensured by an automatie motion cuttingdevice (AML.LC) which prevents overloading Information on eightseparate functions is continuously displaved on the monitor: total mo.ment, boom angle, actual boomn length, actual load radius, extension jibangle, actual hook load, maximum potential load and boom positionindiatot.
